Frontend Lead Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical lead for designing high-performance cybersecurity software front-ends that work with complex data and concepts to deliver features with an optimal user experience

• Lead and manage a team of frontend engineers

• Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to gather requirements, plan, and deliver features

• Establish processes and standards to ensure a reliable and performant application

Requirements:

• 6 years software development experience in progressively complex software projects, 4+ years in React

• Able to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical specifications, and apply best practices and patterns in software development

• Experience leading front-end teams to successfully deliver projects on time and to specification, mentoring junior developers, allocating resources optimally

• Strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of latest features (ES6+)

• Experience with React.js and related libraries/tools (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Redux Saga, Material UI)

• Ability to convert UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code

• Familiarity with documentation creation and maintenance

• Experience with visualization and charting libraries (D3.js, Recharts, ReactFlow)

• Experience implementing tests (unit, functional, automated testing with tools such as react-testing-library, Jest, Cypress)

• Proficient in profiling web application performance using tools like Lighthouse and React DevTools Profiler

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of TypeScript

• Experience with StorybookJS UI dev tool

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment.

• Experience configuring webpack and other build tools

Education:

• Experience is more important than education.
